In overgrown compound on the south side of Golf Links Lane at junction with farm track.
LOCKED. All surface features are intact and in good condition. The hatch is locked. Internally the post is in good condition. There appears to have been recent use, probably by local children but there is no damage of graffiti and any original items remaining have been left in place. These include: table, shelf, cupboard, 2 chairs, cluster map, some papers, BT junction boxes and wiring, 2 cloud posters indicating this was a ROCMET post, fire blanket box with its blanket, mirror, lawn mower, BT mount, dustpan/brush, fan, kettle and two buckets. There is also a portable TV/cassette player but this may belong to a later user. The post is due to be sold in 2003
Opened in 1963 and closed in 1991.
