During the Cold War, around 80 public shelters were built in Prague with a total capacity of 150,000. One of these, built in 1955, now offers guided tours of this fascinating structure and its place in the nation’s history. Other parts of the bunker now operate as a night club and museum. The park in which the bunker is located also has a second bunker, built for the State Telecommnications Company which dates from 1968 but without any public access.
