There were three large concrete magazines that held ammunition for all Heavy Anti Aircraft gun batteries in the North of Scotland. Two of the magazines have been modified for agricultural use. There was a guard house at the entrance which is now a residence. Several smaller brick buildings around the site. There was another EAM in the forest at Dunballoch Plantation near Beauly, twenty miles away as the crow flies,
