On public open ground on the North side of Sandy Hill opposite its junction with Lyal Place.
DEMOLISHED One side of the compound fencing remains alongside the road. This was the prototype underground post, built in 1956 and used for initial trials from May 1957.
Opened in 1957 and closed in 1991.
