On private farm land to the north east of the airfield.
The bunker is in very good condition it is dry and all features are intact. The walls still have smooth cement render, the wooden doors are intact and all light fittings and cable runs are still in place. The bunker has a number of extra features, first, the main entrance has it’s brick and concrete cover extended with the addition of an angled brick blast wall, next it has an extra room to the right of the main entrance (this was used as sleeping quaters). This room still has the orignal iron bunk beds inside. Next is the emergency exit, it is covered by a small brick and concrete structure which has a vertical steel door unlike the horizontal hatch found on other battle headquaters. The iron ladder is stilll in place and in very good condition.
