On a mound on the North side of a bend in an un-named minor road.
OPEN All surface features remain intact but the ventilation louvers are missing as is the top of the ventilation shaft. The top of the access shaft has been capped with concrete to prevent future access. When visited in 1999 the post was sealed with a concrete cap; this has now been removed. The post ladder wis missing.
A rectangular brick aircraft post stands nearby. The overall size is 13' X 8'. At the East end of the building is a 4' X 8' room which was sub-divided to provide a toilet. The division/door has now gone, as has the end wall. The central 8' X 8' room was for aircraft observation and has a concrete hexagonal plinth on the floor and a square opening in the roof. This room gives access to the third 8' X 6' room which was the crew quarters. apart from damage to the toilet the building is in good condition and is the only remaining complete WW2 ROC structure in Lincolnshire.
Opened in 1961 and closed in 1968.
