On the south side of a covered reservoir, 80 yards east of un-named minor road.
LOCKED A little of the compound fencing from the large triangular compound remain in place and there is a pile of fence posts in one corner. All surface features remain intact. The ventilation shaft, which still retains its louvres stands on two courses of bricks. The 2nd ventilation shaft, adjacent to the access shaft has lost its louvres and is much taller than usual, standing 18” above the top of the access shaft with the GZI mounting on top. The hatch is locked with its original bar.
Opened in 1963 and closed in 1968.
