In a small rectangular compound 50 yards East of un-named minor road (originally beside the road but the road was re-aligned when the bridge over the new A45 was built). In bushes at the Southern end of the Wellingborough Rugby Club car park.
OPEN All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the green paint. The top of the access shaft has been rebuilt (1989) and a new larger hatch (Torlift) fitted. The hatch was locked when first visited on 20.2.1999 but is now open and broken. Internally the post is damp with the following items remaining: long table, rack of wooden shelves, 11 chairs (!), oil heater (wouldn’t have been allowed), duffel coat. cape, some papers, bandages, utensils, wiring, battery box, fire blanket box, light, carpet sweeper.
