LOCKED All surface features remain intact with light green paint in good condition. The hatch is locked but can be opened with a ‘T’ bar key. Internally much remains including papers, post log, ROC magazines, Jerry can, battery vacuum cleaner, mattresses, cupboard, long table, siren box and three chairs. Internally the post has been constructed back to front.
The base of the WW2 aircraft post still stands on the north bank of the North Forty Foot Drain (name of drainage channel and road) at its junction with Punchbowl Lane. (TF313446)
