In a small rectangular compound on the south side of Woodcutts Lane.
WELDED All surface features remain intact with the green paint in good condition. The hatch is welded shut. There is a disused telegraph pole on the opposite side of the road, 100 yards to the west which probably served the post.
Opened in 1963 and closed in 1991.

This post is now open, the counterbalance system for the hatch is damaged and the hatch is stuck open, but otherwise internally the post is in good condition.

The last report on Witchampton ROC Post stated that it was very messy inside however I am happy to report that it has seen an attempt at being tidied up! It was very dry inside unlike the sad usual status I see of many of these posts which was very positive. Appears that it has been heavily vandalised on the walls but the artifacts from the 2013 images still remain. There is also a log book present in here now and I signed in it on behalf of my Urbex page - @urbex_with_archie on instagram whereby I post my exploring pictures.
