In small rectangular compound beside footpath in middle of pastoral field 120 yards South of un-named minor road.
OPEN All surface features remain intact with bad flaking of the light green paint. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. 7 Jul 2013: The post was locked in 1999 but the locks cut off and the ventilation louvres have been removed since that visit. In the post there is fire blanket, Elsan chemical toilet, 2 cupboards (one wall mounted and one on floor), twin bunk beds, wall map of England and Wales, wooden siren crate, A/B battery switch, hand pump, some pictures on notice board cleaning materials, crockery, timer and a light on the ceiling.
Opened in 1963 and closed in 1991.
