On the north side of a field boundary, 100 yards east of an un-named minor road.
An overgrown gate in the hedge alongside the road, and a small wooden bridge across a stream were for access. All surface features remain intact with some soil erosion around the access shaft. Some green paint remains and the ventilation louvres on the shaft adjacent to the access shaft are still in place. Internally the post has suffered some fire damage but the shelf, cupboard, twin bunks, battery and battery box and one ventilation louvre are still to be found.
Opened in 1964 and closed in 1968.

The bushes around the fence are heavily overgrown and inaccessible. Further down the road towards the dead end somebody has tied the barbwire down on the fence so you can still step over it. There’s no longer a bridge so you’ll get wet feet! Overall the bunker is still wide open and still has some of the original items inside. I took a quick video and a photo.

Access is still awkward, there is a new fence alongside the river, but there are narrow parts to the stream easily crossable.
The post is heavily overgrown now with only the access hatch on view. The hatch is still open and the ladder down solid, the bunk bed and table and cupboard still remain, both doors are still in situ also the toilet. I have added some updated photos.
