On the edge of an arable field on the South side of an un-named minor road (hidden by high hedgerow). 200 yards West of Bell Lane farm house.
OPEN All surface features remain intact. The hatch is open. Internally the post is clean with white pained walls. Disassembled bunks, single bed, cupboard, splint, wiring and boxes of photographic paper for GZI remain.
Opened in 1962 and closed in 1968.

The hatch is unlocked with a chain draped across. Externally the post is in good condition, internally there is some rubble at the bottom of the ladder. It is dry inside and has been mostly emptied other than a small cupboard and part of the bed frame. When visited there was rubble against the field gate and a water standpipe recently installed, so I wonder if this post may be affected in the future.
