The Post Office Railway station at Paddington was the western most end of the Post Office Railway and connected the post office to the Great Western Railway (and subsequently Western Region) train services from Paddington Station. It closed, along with the whole system on 31 May 2003.
Like all Post Office Railway stations it featured chutes for mail to be sent down to the platform level and conveyors to lift arriving mail up to the sorting office for onward distribution.
