On a low mound on a hilltop 150 yards West of Haol Bronallt
OPEN All surface features remain intact but the ventilation louvres and hatch are missing. Internally the post has been completely stripped including the doors. There is some rubble on the floor and 4" of water. There is a battered metal sign on the floor which reads ‘Air Ministry Property’. (There is a new housing estate being built immediately to the South so the post may be sealed or demolished for safety reasons). Ordnance Survey spells the village name with one ‘D’ but local road signs use 2 ‘D’s’ which is assumed to be correct.
Opened in 1962 and closed in 1968.
