Probably lost under new housing. . This confirmed by William J Read, Chairman of Emergency Planning Society - West Midlands Branch “I confirm that this post is now under a housing estate. I visited it before the houses were constructed in the mid 1980s, when the post had already been closed. the surface features were still in existence.”
Attack Warning Red has that the post was originally called Glascote when it opened in Nov 1953. Renamed Polesworth in July 1963 after going underground in April 1962.
Polesworth village is in Warwickshire but the post seems to have been over the border in Staffordshire.
Opened in 1962 and closed in 1983.
