OPEN The post was renamed New Oakley some time between 1966 and 1968. The ventilation shaft is reduced to a stump with re-enforcing rods, the FSM pipe has gone. The access shaft is intact but the hatch and ventilation louvres have gone. The monitoring room is flooded to within four feet of the top of the shaft.
Opened in 1965 and closed before 1977.

The bunker is totally overgrown with thorns and still flooded with water to the top to within about 1 metre of the top with rubbish in the water as well. The ventilation shaft is somehow destroyed, with metal rods sticking out of it. The hatch is gone with no replacement
The ROC post is effectively lost to nature.
