On a raised plateau 40 yards North of un-named minor road and 25 yards East of the Kings Stone ((Rollright Stones) ancient monument.
DEMOLISHED The post has been demolished and there is nothing visible at the site. However the above ground section of the access shaft lies on its side next to a pile of concrete fence posts from the compound in the hedgerow alongside the road.
Opened in 1961 and closed in 1991.
