On a low mound on a gentle slope, in a small rectangular compound in the middle of a field, 250 yards south of an un-named minor road (a continuation of Stryd-yr-Ysgol)
OPEN All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the green paint. The FSM pipe is badly eroded with holes in it. One of the ventilation louvres is missing. The hatch is open. The T-bar key hole has a small hinged cover over it which seems to be a local feature. One metal ventilation louvre is lying on the ground, the others are still in place. Internally the post has been trashed and is strewn with rubbish. The table, shelf and cupboard remain in place but the cupboard doors have been broken off. Other artefacts include the siren box, 3 mattresses, broken BT junction boxes and wiring, WB1401 carrier receiver and WB1410 filter unit, saucepans, large splint, small splint and the light.
Opened in 1959 and closed in 1991.
