On a low mound in a square compound on the west side of a field boundary on top of a hill 150 yards east of A483 (best accessed from minor road junction to the north east).
LOCKED All surface features remain intact with the lime green paint in good condition. All the metal is painted black. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft and three guying points on the grass indicates this was a master post.
An Orlit A stands within its own small compound on the south side of the underground post. Although stripped it is in good condition.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.
