In a square compound on the north side of B950, adjacent to Croftmuir Farm.
LOCKED All surface features are intact but there is fire damage to one louvre on the ventilation shaft. There is some paint flaking on both the access shaft and the ventilation shaft. There are no padlocks but the hatch is locked internally; it can be opened with a Scottish ‘T’ bar key. Internally much remains including folding table, shelf, cupboard, battery box, WB1401 carrier receiver and WB1410 filter unit, BT junction boxes/wiring, battery box, home made practice maroon launcher, visitors log (with a 2000 date), ROC magazines, various papers, long floor standing cupboard, cleaning materials, small splint, waste bin, cluster map, fuse box/wiring, light/switch/wiring, fire blanket in its box, wire brush and a Jerry can.
Opened in 1962 and closed in 1991.

The ROC Post is now easily opened with flaking green paint on the hatch. The post is in good condition with the BPI (Bomb Power Indicator) mount still intact. the rest of the exterior is in good condition but on the ventilation shaft the louvres are hanging on by a thread.
On the inside much remains including: The original table, cupboard, jerry cans, the chemical toilet, a box for the batteries wich have now gone, and a strange tall cupboard wich contains, 3 light bulbs, 1 fuse, and a small 1980s cooker which is open and rusty. The sump pump in the post is also intact and in good condition. There is some standing water on the ground, maybe 2 inches with rubbish in the water as well. Otherwise all that the post is in good condition and pretty good for a 1991 shut down.
