In a square compound beside a railway line. On the south side of an un-named minor road (across railway line).
LOCKED All surface features remain intact with the green paint in good condition. The louvers are hanging off the ventilation shaft. The hatch has been forced open and will not close properly as one padlock hasp has been forced out of the concrete surround. Internally much remains including
numerous papers, cluster map, BPI mount, light and switch, BT junction boxes and wiring, fuse box and wiring, small splint and the hatch locking bar. The original folding table and shelf have been replaced by two floor standing tables (2001). When revisited in 2007 the hatch had been secured with a new padlock.
Opened in 1961 and closed in 1991.

The ROC post is now OPEN with flanking green paint on the hatch but the hatch won’t close properly. On the exterior the bunker is in good condition with most of the light green paint still intact and the BPI (Bomb Power Indicator) mount still intact. Also the original fence line is now destroyed and lays near the compound. On the inside the post is fair condition but has suffered some damage wich includes a some of the walls vandalised, The polystyrene falling of the walls, The monitoring room’s door ripped of and lays in the corner of the room, and some rubbish on the floor. The only artifacts wich remain include, The original table, Chemical toilet, paper’s and documents, light bulbs, 1 fuse, light and switch, BT junction boxes and wiring. Otherwise that the ROC post is in good condition and not bad for a 1991 shut down
