50 yards east of entrance to Corsehill Farm on B742 and 100 yards south of A70.
LOCKED All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the green paint. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft and a stake for fixing the aerial mast to indicates this was a master post. There is a cover (similar to a water stop cock) over the BPI pipe. Guying points for the aerial are visible. There are no padlocks on the hatch but it is locked internally with the broken end of a ‘T’ bar key jammed in the lock.
There is an Orlit A on a hillock 20 yards to the north. There is a truncated telegraph pole close to it.
Opened in 1961 and closed in 1991.
