In a small square overgrown compound on hilltop 50 feet from trig. station and tower. 100 yards South of Stone Pit Lane.
LOCKED. All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the light green paint. The hatch is locked.
The nearby brick tower (SP01075697) probably housed the aircraft post. It is in excellent condition and locked. (It is possible it is a new structure and had no connection with the ROC)
Opened in 1962 and closed in 1991.
