On a low mound 70 yards east of A83 and 60 yards north east of a WW1 monument.
DEMOLISHED All surface features have been cleared and the shaft capped with concrete, the concrete apron around the shaft remains. In the undergrowth, the top of the vent shaft can be found, lying inverted, together with part of the top edge of the shaft, recognisable by its bevelled shape, and the presence of the small drain pipe which drained the hatch seal. One side of the compound fencing still stands.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1968.
