On a low mound on hill top close to the west side of a field boundary. 200 yards north west of an un-named minor road.
OPEN Only the entrance shaft remains. The step is missing as is the top of the adjacent ventilation shaft and its louvres. There is some damage to the concrete at the top of the shaft. The hatch and ladder are missing and access was gained using an electron caving ladder. Internally the post has been completely stripped apart from the BPI mount and the Elsan chemical toilet. There is some water on the floor.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1958.

The ROC post is still unlocked with all of the green paint absent. The post is in bad condition with all surface features destroyed except for the access shaft. Later the hatch was found in the river and the concrete step was also in the river. Access to the post was gained with a caving ladder. On the inside the post has 3 inches of water and some rubbish in the water as well. The post is stripped with the BPI (Bomb Power Indicator) mount now gone but the chemical toilet is still intact with some of the wood to hold up the wires still intact. But otherwise all that the post is stripped and is in sad condition.
