Located on high ground to the south west of the former airfield.
The bunker is in good condition it is dry and free from rubbish, the railings around the main entrance are still intact. The emergency hatch is still inplace and the air vent still turns. The escape ladder is in place and in good condition. Inside there are a number of wooden joists on the floor of the observation room which look to be original the purpose of these is not known but they do help to raise the floor level so an observer can see out of the cupola slits with ease, if this is the case it is the only Battle headquarters so far found to be fitted out in this way.
