Close to a footpath running south across West Down Golf Course 500 yards south of Castle Lane.
(presumed) DEMOLISHED. No trace of anything although the ridge of land is heavily overgrown with gorse, fern and brambles, which could hide the post. A line of old telegraph poles run part way along the footpath from the road. These are now in re use but must have once served the post.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1968.
