In the corner of a field by a tin shed to north west of the farm house (not on hilltop)
LOCKED All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the light green paint. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. The hatch is locked.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.
The ROC Post is still locked with new padlocks on the hatch. The post is in good condition on the exterior with flaking green paint. The post is now in a secure area within a barbed wire fence with two gates. The BPI ( Bomb Power Indicator) mount is still intact; also the dome on the ventilation shaft is still intact. Overall the post is in fair condition and not bad for a 1991 closure.
