On a mound in a very large rectangular compound, on hilltop close to trig. station, 300 yards north of Denwick Road.
LOCKED The compound incorporates three sides of the original square compound that contained the post. All surface features remain intact with the green paint flaking badly. The original standard Scottish hatch has been replaced with an English style hatch. This is locked.
The transmitter/receiver block for a WW2 Chain Home Low radar station stands within the compound. Other buildings are in the surrounding fields.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.
