On a hilltop 200 yards west of the town market.
OPEN One side of the compound fencing survives. All surface features remain intact but the top and part of one side of the ventilation shaft is missing, as are all the ventilation louvres. There is a metal pipe to carry the phone line into the post. The concrete apron around the access shaft is cracked. The hatch is open. Internally the post is flooded to a depth of 1 inch. It is rubble strewn and apart from several bed ends and the monitoring room door, which is leaning against one wall it has been stripped. (The village name is now spelt Crymych)
Opened in 1962 and closed in 1968.
