On the West side of a farm road/bridleway to Yelvertoft, South of a field boundary, 500 yards North of lay-by on A428
OPEN Some fence posts from the compound remain. The ventilation louvres are missing and the hatch is hanging off. The brick steps up to the shaft top are pulling away. Internally there are carpet tiles and rubbish on the floor together with some wiring and one chair. The owner of Bits and Bobs, a second hand shop in Buckhills Lane, has the post log.
Some concrete rubble, perhaps from the aircraft post, lies nearby.
