On a low mound North of a field boundary and 200 yards West of an un-named minor road.
OPEN All surface features remain intact but in poor condition with the step detached and the top of the ventilation shaft, hatch and louvres missing. Internally the post is strewn with rubble and has 4" of water on the floor. The monitoring room door has been removed and the only remaining artefact is the BPI mounting
A brick built aircraft post stands on the field boundary to the south. It is approx. 10' X 10' with a blast protected entrance leading up steps to the aircraft observation area with an octagonal opening in the concrete roof. It has a crew room alongside.
Opened in 1962 and closed in 1968.
