At the end of a line of telegraph poles on a hilltop 150 yards North of Lodge Lane (and Lodge Farm).
DEMOLISHED The post has been demolished and the site is now occupied by a cellphone aerial and transmitter. Apart from the telegraph poles a chemical toilet and the siren box lie in the undergrowth nearby.
There is a small concrete plinth nearby and a metal ladder lying in the undergrowth next to it. This may have some connection with the aircraft post.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.
