On the north side of the forward 14th tee on Buckspool Golf Course amongst thick gorse bushes.
SEALED All surface features remain intact but the access shaft has been capped with concrete and the ventilation shaft has been sealed the same way. The green paint is flaking. A former Observer from the post says the post was not stripped out before it was sealed. January 2015 No change
An aircraft post built from concrete blocks stands 60 yards to the east, also surrounded by gorse bushes It is approximately 7' X 5' with a 5' X 5' open section and a narrow 2' X 5' crew room with a sloping tin roof. it is constructed of concrete blocks (same size as breeze blocks).
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.
