In the corner of a field on the East side of a bridle track 400 yards North from Station Road and 50 yards North of trig station.
OPEN Some compound fencing survives alongside the path. The ventilation shaft has been demolished and the access shaft is damaged with the hatch missing. It is filled with soil and rubble four feet down.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1968.
