In a large square compound on the brow of a hill on the west side of A816.
LOCKED All surface features remain intact. There is a telegraph pole at one edge of the compound. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. Most of the light green paint has gone. By removing the FSM pipe blanking plate and lowering a camera down the shaft it was possible to see the following artefacts: table, shelf, cupboard, BT junction box/wiring, BPI mount, mattress, papers and notices on the wall.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.

The ROC post is now OPEN all surface features still remain intact with flanking Light blue/white paint. Little fencing still remains around the post, the telegraph pole is now laying on the ground. The BPI mount is still intact as well, the dome on the Ventilation shaft is still persent, the Ventilation louvers are also present. The hatch is ripped off and can easily be lifted. On the inside, many items still remain which include: Cupboard, table, Carpet, cardboard boxes, paper’s and documents, notice bord behind the door, Chemical toilet, Radio transmitter and receiver, BT junction boxes, wood to hold up the wires, battery box, bed sheets for the bunk beds, light bulb and some fuses.
