RAF Digby has a lomg history, originally opening in World War I as RAF Scopwick. It served as both a training airfield and part of Fighter Command during World War II. Flying at the site ceased in 1953 and it now houses HQ Joint Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities Group.
The semi-sunken World War II Operations Room has been restored to how it was in 1939 and can be visited by prior arrangement on Summer Sundays.
