The Visitor Centre is by the side of the A85 Oban - Tyndrum road. There is a small exhibition and café, visitors are then taken in a minibus down a tunnel to a viewing gallery overlooking the turbines. The dam is at NN 07981 28167 which is a long, steep walk (it used to be possible to borrow a key to the gate but too many did not return the key so it was stopped). It is a pump storage system and is to be enlarged. Pine Martens are regularly seen at the café.
