Baginton Hall was a 17th century house which stood above the river Sowe, to the south of Coventry, replacing an earlier castle. The house burnt down in the 1920s and was demolished. The icehouse survives dug into a steep north facing bank above the river at SP 344 752. It is in good condition and has an additional barrel vaulted chamber built in the side of the entrance passage.
