 Walton & Anfield Station looking South east in January 2008. The platform on the left of the picture is still substantially intact. This platform would have served trains travelling to Liverpool Lime Street. On the far left of the picture the station masters house, now in use as a private residence, can also be seen. It appears that the Canada Dock/Alexandria Dock platform has been demolished. It was still extant as recently as the mid 1990's. Careful inspection of the picture shows a number of bricks to the right of the engineers which would have formed the platform.
