Location: On the south side of Wood Lane at its junction with Halton Station Road.

Present state: Station building in use as private dwelling westbound platform still in situ.

Notes: Station was situated on the Birkenhead Joint Railway a couple of miles to the east of Frodsham. Today the station is situated in the 'Beechwood' part of Runcorn.

The station was opened as Runcorn and was renamed Runcorn Road on 4.1861 and Halton on 1.3.1869.
