Present state: Station is now the headquarters of the South Tynedale Railway. (Narrow gauge) The station building and platform have been preserved in excellent condition.

Notes: Terminus of a branch line from Haltwhistle. The photographs were taken during a railtour to Alston a few weeks before the closure of the line. The station originally had an overall roof.
