It looks as though BT provided `pairs' to the bunker by taking some from the KG-SCM No.2 cable. (Kingsbridge to Salcombe junction cable?) This would have provided two routes to two separate exchanges. It also looks as though pairs were also provided in the normal way, i.e. via street cabinets (Cab 2 and Cab 3) and a distribution point (DP20, presumably the bunker itself.)
