There was a WWII GOR there also but ….
The WW2 GOR to the south of the house has been demolished!
The AAOR bunker is accessable and easy to visit due to it being on the site of former military barracks. Internally most original items remain but the entire site is heavily vandalised with some rooms inside the aaror being spray painted and one room being fire damaged but still worth the visit.
Craigiehall AAOR has been designated as Listed Building (at Category B) in 2016. The complete Craigiehall Barracks / Camp, including the AAOR, have been sold for redevelopment in 2024.
