Anstruther, Fife

RAF radar station built early in WWII. Was equipped with several types of radar at different times.

Two-level underground Rotor GCI radar bunker built with standard `bungalow' guardroom in 1950s.

Became Scottish North Zone Headquarters in 1973.

Opened to public as a cold war museum in 1994. You can see some photographs taken there in June 1996.

In 1997 the museum produced its own web site.
