Location On rough ground at the southern end of Chanory Point, west of the road between two houses.
Description LOCKED All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the green paint. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. The hatch is locked. Internally the post is clean and dry and was opened for the first time since 1991 for this inspection. Many items remain including 2 cloud charts, cluster map showing Scottish posts, shelf, table, cupboard (containing bowl, cutlery, pots, kettle, battery clips, photographic paper for GZI), BT junction boxes and wiring, splint, hand written poster detailing procedures leading up to and after attack warning red, mattresses, 3 visitors books, ROC operating manual, various other books and manuals. There was also a Tele-Talk which when opened lit up indicating that the BT line is still live. The WB1401 carrier receiver and WB1410 filter unit are also still in place. When the loudspeaker was switched on this too appeared to be connected to a live BT line. A post inspection in 2007 reveald no change.
