A brick built aircraft post stands close to the telegraph pole. Its door is locked but the wooden instrument table is visible as is a bed frame, battery box and paraffin heater. It is approximately 7' X 5' with a sloping corrugated metal sheet over the small 2' X 5' crew room. There is a junction box on the nearby telegraph pole and part of the removable wood/tin roof covering the open section lies on the ground nearby. A small wood and asbestos toilet hut stands just outside the compound. |
