| Description | LOCKED All surface features remain intact although the louvres on the ventilation shaft adjacent to the access shaft are missing and one of the louvres on the main ventilation shaft is hanging off (2003). the top of the access shaft was reconstructed in 1989 and a new larger hatch (Torlift) fitted. The hatch is locked but could be opened with a Torlift key or large screwdriver when inspected in 1998. A padlock has now been fitted on the hinged plate covering the key hole. Internally much remains including cupboard, shelf, rack of shelves, some BT equipment, papers, posters, utensils, maps and four pairs of Wellington boots. (An ROC training manual dated 1989 was removed for preservation). |
