| Description | OPEN All surface features remain intact but the ventilation louvres are missing. The hatch is open and the counterbalance weight is detached and lying below. The original locking bar is still in place. Apart from a large quantity of rabbit skeletons the post has been completely stripped apart from a GPO junction box |

A brick built aircraft post stands close to the road (SO5422418040). It is 10' X 15' with steps up to the open room which is 10' X 10'. the opposite wall has fallen away and there is a tree growing through the open roof. Steps lead down to the crew quarters which had a sloping roof but is now roofless. the room measuring 5' X 10' had two windows. The building is in poor condition. |
